Komt een dom blondje in een electrozaak. Daar ziet ze een prachtige televisie staan en ze zegt de verkoper: "voor mij dit televisietoestel a.u.b." Waarop de verkoper antwoordt: "ik verkoop niet aan domme blondjes!" Het dom blondje besluit hierop naar de kapper te gaan en laat haar haar zwart verven.
Terug in de electrozaak vraagt ze opnieuw naar de televisie. De verkoper zegt echter opnieuw: "ik verkoop niet aan domme blondjes!" Het dom blondje gaat terug naar de kapper en laat zich volledig kaal scheren. In de electrozaak zegt ze: "ik zou graag dit televisietoestel kopen." De verkoper weeral: "ik verkoop niet aan domme blondjes!" "Maar?" vraagt het domme blondje, "hoe weet jij eigenlijk dat ik een dom blondje ben?" Waarop de verkoper: "dat is geen televisie, dat is een magnetron..."

| IRISH COFFEE (ORIGINAL) 4 Orange Peel 4 Lemon Twist 16 cloves 1 cinnamon stick 7.5 ml Sugar 7.5 ml Irish Whiskey 22.5 ml Coffee Stud the strips of orange and lemon peel with 2 cloves each and place them in a frying pan or chafing dish with the stick of cinnamon and the 2 teaspoons of sugar. Place over moderate heat, stirring occationally with a wooden spoon, until the sugar has melted. Pour the Irish Whiskey into the pan and light a match to the liquid. (Be sure to step back since the flame will flare up instantly.) Shake the pan to and fro slowly until the flame dies out. Pour in the hot coffee all at once and let it come to a simmer. Remove from the heat. Rub the cut edge of a strip of lemon peel around the inside of each the irish coffee cup and dip it into a dish of caster sugar so that the sugar adheres to the inside rim.
